Design Notes

During the design of this sequence, it was necessary to ensure that the deoptimized sequence did not contain BioBrick restriction sites and that the translational sequence was identical to that of the wild type gene.

This TetA gene has been deoptimized from base pairs 1 to 141 using the online Optimizer program (http://genomes.urv.es/OPTIMIZER/)and was constructed using customized Oligo segments that were annealed and ligated into a pSB1A2 vector.
